 Getting There

  A good highway system provides easy access to most areas of Long Island. I-495 provides access from western Long Island to eastern Long Island. Other Interstates on Long Island are I-278, I-478, and I-678. There are several toll roads and bridges to get to Long Island from different areas of New York City.

  The largest major airport serving Long Island is the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens. The John F.
