New York's Scenic Drives
New York City is only a small (if significant) chunk of New York State, which stretches out richly green from inland to coastland. You'll drive past everything from ocean to hamlet to cobblestone buildings here.
 | Ever wondered what an Adirondack cowboy is? Find out by driving from ranch to ranch in Adirondack Park. You'll even find an amusement park or two to stop in at if you're in the mood. Drive along canals which were once traveled via ox and barge, or explore the banks of the natural rivers, of which you'll find many. If you're in the mood for a hike or beautiful vistas dropping away beneath you or just in the curative air of the mountain airs, drive up into the Adirondack or the Shawangunk ranges. Click on any of the links below to explore specific scenic drives. The map to the left will give you an idea of where these drives are located in the state. |
