Basic Directions

Saratoga National Historical Park is located 40 miles north of Albany, the state capital, and some 15 miles southeast of Saratoga Springs. All signs for the park are brown with white letters and say "Saratoga National Historical Park."

From Montreal and points north
Get off the Northway (I-87) at Exit 14. Follow signs for Route 29 East to Schuylerville where the Schuyler House (south end of town) and Saratoga Monument (south part, uphill on Route 338 / Burgoyne Rd.) are located. At "T" intersection with U.S. Route 4, turn right. You will be going south. Eight miles south on Route 4 you will find the entrance to the Battlefield, on the right side of the road.

From Albany and points south:
Get off the Northway (I-87) at Exit 12. Turn right off the exit; you will be on Route 67. After this, stay in the right lane to go through the traffic circle. Before the next traffic circle, move into the left lane. Use this lane in the traffic circle. Go 3/4 of the way through the circle and exit for U.S. Rt. 9 headed north. The turn will be to your left as you approach the second circle. Then, follow the signs for Saratoga National Historical Park.

From points east or west:
Use Route 29 to Schuylerville. At the "T" intersection with U.S. Route 4, turn south (right turn if you are driving from the west, left turn if from the east). About 8 miles south, you will see the entrance to the Battlefield on the right side of the road.
