Big city Buffalo is second in size state-wide only to New York City, but holds its own in terms of cultural attractions, proximity to national landmarks like Niagara Falls and the easy access it proffers to grand parks.
Ocelots, hyenas, gorillas, zebra and a long list of additional mammals roam the exhibits of Buffalo Zoo, a facility that will run from African watering hold to rainforest, highlands to Asian river once its 15-year renovation plan has been completed. In the meantime, visitors can still enjoy a glimpse of vanishing animals from the north and south, a peak inside the lions' pen, a trip around the Children's zoo and seasonal animal demonstrations in the W.I.L.D. Place as part of their zoological park adventure.
