Wander mountain-top trails, while away a day trout fishing or consider a full weekend of wine tasting on your next trip to the Catskill Mountain region.
A 1.7 mile delayed harvest, artificial lure only section is located between the mouths of Otter and Queen Creeks. A designated Federal Wilderness Area is located upstream of Forest Road 119. This is a walk-in only area. No fish are stocked in the Wilderness section of East Hickory Creek. However, native brook trout and wild brown trout reside here.
The lower section can be accessed from township roads off State Route 62. The Wilderness section can be accessed by hiking in from Forest Road 119 or the Hearts Content area.
