Description
From positively antique firefighting equipment like an official "Bucket Carriage" to old-school speaking trumpets and a real sliding pole, the FASNY Museum of Firefighting can lay claim to the largest collection of historic firefighting artifacts in the world. Open since 1925, the space has continued to fill with an ever expanding assortment of gear, memorabilia, firefighting apparatus and even art. Additionally, there is usually something on show in the changing exhibit space where themes range from ancient history to more modern events, like 9-11.
