America's beloved cascade, Niagara Falls, is one of the north's best-known natural landmarks, a mighty waterfall shrouded in mist and lit up by the occasional rainbow.
Housed in a new space as of Spring 2009, the Museum of the Chinese in the Americas (MOCA) has as its focus the Chinese America experience, from the sights and sounds of lively Chinatown to the rich heritage and personal histories of those who have chosen to resettle in New York City. Temporary installations explore themes that range from interactive maps to the impact of 9-11 on Chinatown. Expect to find in the galleries a well-rounded collection of artifacts, fine art and other historic objects associated with Manhattan's Chinese American population.
