New York City's streets may seem a little wild come rush hour but this scene can't compete with the animals prowling exhibits at the Queens Zoo. Though the goats, llamas and Flemish giant rabbits are mostly tame, some of the other locals like the spectacled bear, coyotes and puma are less the sort you'd take home to meet the parents, even if you could. Observe waterfowl in a natural habitat from telescopes, watch the noisy sea lions bask and play and spot roaming bison in the Great Plains all without leaving city limits at this zoological park.
