Description
Running through the Finger Lakes region of western New York, Scenic Route 90 bypasses farmlands and small towns as it zips along the shores of beautiful Cayuga Lake. Antiquated homes and shops line the streets with facades reminiscent of 18th Century life.
Scenic Route 90 begins in Homer, just north of Cortland, and ends in Montezuma in the western portion of New York in the Finger Lakes/Wine Country region.
Here, in the heart of New York's wine country, there are numerous opportunities for fun and recreation. In addition to shopping, museums, and sight seeing, several parks located near the Lake offer facilities for camping and water sports. At Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, naturalists thrill to the inhabitants of the wetlands. And at Long Point State Park, there are excellent boating and fishing facilities.
