Description

Only an easy ferry ride away from the big city visitors can find a tropical rainforest or African savannah escape at the Staten Island Zoo, the closest thing to the true wild available in this developed region. Look for leopards, lively lemurs, moseying mandrills and many more at this zoological facility. Be sure to take the young ones by the Kids Korral,have a look around the Clydesdale Horse barn and sign up for a pony ride before calling it a day.
