Description

Ukraine might be a little too far away to make it a good weekend destination but visitors can at least enjoy a glimpse of traditional life in this Eastern European country at The Ukrainian Museum. In addition to folk art, the permanent collection also contains fine art, and period costumes as well as currency, maps and photographs. Temporary exhibits cover topics that range from historic subjects like genocide to to the works of Ukrainian artists, both past and present.
